Packaging sustainability is at a tipping point with a renewed focus on collecting and recycling packaging materials to foster and build circular economy (CE) principles across the packaging value chain. With this focus, the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) requested a report and roadmap to better understand sustainability/environmental implications with an end goal to develop sustainability/circular economy roadmaps to guide the FPA and its members over the next decade.
This report, The Path of Flexible Packaging to a Circular Economy, provides information, knowledge, and insights related to flexible packaging and sustainability, circular economy, legislative trends, impacts to the industry along with key outcomes, and actions to enable the industry to align with CE principles where materials are collected, sorted, processed, and turned back into new products or packaging.
