Back to Foundations: Mapping Out the Correct Data Analyses for Your Research
 Karen H. Larwin is a Distinguished Professor at Youngstown State University. Additionally, she is the owner of R.E.M. Consulting and Associates, since 2006. R.E.M. Consulting is a consulting agency that provides Research, Evaluation, and Measurement services to educational and public health agencies. As an agency, Karen’s focus is to help every organization increase its potential and realize areas of improvement through evidence-based evaluation practices. Karen’s training and skill-set span the entire quantitative and qualitative spectrum of measurement and analyses. Karen provides professional development to other researchers in conducting analyses, interpreting, and reporting their results. Karen initiated the Quant Café for the American Evaluation Association which annually provides free support to attendees regarding designing research studies, choosing the correct analyses, and reporting and/or disseminating their results. Dr. Larwin serves as chair for the American Evaluation Association Quantitative Methods section, as a REEP Evaluator for the Ohio Commission on Minority Health, as a Peer-Evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission, and as the chair of the YSU Institutional Review Board.
